We love Gryson!!! I love the Gryson bag but it seems that mine Olivia has the same issue. The threads of one of the braided handle are coming out. I recently splurged on the Olivia bag by Gryson size: large, color: black and was in love with it until I discovered that the black leather was rubbing off and staining my khaki coat.
